| With a background in Occupational Therapy in Iran and UAE, Maryam saw that Pilates was a small yet growing area of interest for women wanting to improve their health and fitness level. Knowing that there is a strong connection with body movement and overall health, she started to work internationally with women of all ages to introduce them to Mat Pilates. Currently certified to teach Pilates Mat and Reformer, Maryam offers dynamic classes designed to be fun and effective for beginner and intermediate participants.
Pilates helps to build flexibility, strength, endurance and coordination in body. During classes, the emphasis is on relaxed, rhythmic breathing and smooth, coordinated movements which will tone muscles and improve posture. Maryam educates, motivates, and encourages her clients to discover the benefits of Pilates and how they have positive life-long health benefits. Her committed approach to fitness has encouraged many clients to become fitness enthusiasts. |
