|  A lifetime of interest in human movement, artistic expression, as well as a passion for learning have lead Nika Merrick from a career in dance and theatre design towards sharing her acquired knowledge and talents teaching Pilates and GYROTONIC®. First introduced to GYROTONIC® in 2003, the method was a natural evolution from her work in the arts of dance and movement, and Nika became certified as a teacher in 2005.
She has taught clients of all ages at many of Vancouver’s most highly-respected facilities.
After having recently completed the GYROKINESIS® instructor training, she is now pleased to be able to offer group classes as a certified apprentice teacher.
In her classes, Nika particularly enjoys the process of guiding participants towards new levels of knowledge and awareness in both fitness and personal growth. This ultimately leads students to the discovery of applying what they learn in their classes to their everyday life and activities. |
